Apolitical and free to join, this reading welcomes all ages and ability levels to rock the stage from three to five minutes so long as they bring a poem NOT of their own composition to share as well.
After the open mic, we have a 2-round SLAM, the first place winner receives exactly one-half of what monies were collected in “the hat”. In especially large slams, the second-place winner will receive a gift certificate from the Bean!
